Today, practise the outside tip of a small wing. Leave the rest of the eye simple so you can see what that one mark changes. The goal is a shape you can place again with your eyes relaxed, not the largest wing you can make tidy.
Set up a comfortable view
Put a mirror where you can look ahead without lifting your brow. Use a liner intended for the eye area, clean tools and appropriate eye makeup remover. Keep cotton buds ready for a small correction. Resting an elbow on a stable surface can make the connection easier to control.
Round one: make only the tip
With the eye open, mark a short line just beyond the outer upper lashes in the direction you want. Keep it close enough to change easily. Pause before doing anything else.
Checkpoint: can you see the tip in your normal gaze, and is it pointing where you intended? Compare the overall impression on the other eye. You are not measuring identical angles on two different folds.
Round two: connect it
Join the tip back to the outer upper-lash line using short strokes. Fill only the small space that needs colour. Let the product behave according to its directions rather than repeatedly going over a layer that needs to settle.
Checkpoint: relax your brow and look ahead again. A drawing that looks unusual closed may give the open-eye shape you want. If a fold interrupts it, try a shorter tip or a different local angle before increasing the whole line.
Round three: make one correction
Remove only the misplaced section with the suitable remover, used as directed, and rebuild it smaller. Do not enlarge the other wing to match an accident. Avoid tape, sharp objects and improvised stencils near the eye.
If the separate tip still feels awkward, keep a narrow outer-lash line today. That is a usable result, not an unfinished version. Stop using any eye cosmetic that causes irritation.
Next time, repeat the same short tip with the same liner. Note one detail—its length or visibility in your relaxed gaze. A mark you can place deliberately is a better sign of progress than a bigger shape reached through repeated corrections.
Makeup placement and colour are personal choices; adjust the steps to suit you. Follow the directions on your own products.
