Peach cheek with an espresso lash edge in five minutes

Place peach as a soft cheek area and espresso as a narrow external upper-lid edge, leaving clear space between the two.

A fictional adult with fair cool skin, soft peach cheek colour kept below the eye area, a narrow espresso external upper-lid line and a natural lip.

Keep peach broad and soft on the cheek, and espresso narrow at the external upper-lid edge. That difference in area does the balancing work. This five-minute core uses familiar products after your usual preparation; keep the natural lip finish and skip a new shadow step.

Place the peach, then place the small dark edge

Use a little blush with a clean suitable cheek brush on the cheek area you want to colour. Follow the product’s directions and soften the boundary locally. Check straight ahead before spreading it nearer the eye: the peach can stay a separate patch of warmth rather than joining the lash detail.

With an eye-intended espresso pencil, connect short sections on the external upper lid where you can work comfortably. Keep the product away from the inner rim. Use a separate clean appropriate eye brush for a small soft boundary, then check with the eye relaxed. A longer wing is outside this short version.

Peach-and-espresso placement study: keep peach as a separate soft cheek area, espresso as a narrow external upper-lid boundary and clear space between their edges.

Check the space between the colours

Move back and look at the cheek and eye together. Keep the darker espresso contained even if you decide the peach needs a little more colour. Choose a peach depth visible on your skin without assuming it has to look pale or pastel.

Stop when the cheek is soft and the eye is clear enough. Leave the mouth at its familiar comfortable finish; a matching peach lipstick is optional to another version, not a missing item here.

Three simple ways to use the separation

Wedding. Compare the peach beside the intended neckline and follow the hosts’ dress code. Practise the small espresso line beforehand. Keep the cheek boundary quiet when the outfit already has a lot of detail.

Celebration. Let the peach be a little more visible inside the chosen cheek area beside festive clothes. Retain the narrow espresso edge so increasing the cheek colour does not enlarge both features at once.

Weekend. Use the thinner peach amount beside a casual top and keep the eye line short. If the day needs fewer steps, the cheek-only version is a valid simpler choice, though the pictured two-part look includes espresso.

If the colours run into one another

Reduce the actual overextended area with a remover suited to that part of the face, following and completing its directions. Keep separate clean tools for cheek and eye. Replace less product locally rather than covering the gap with a new concealer step.

Keep the soft peach area and small espresso boundary distinct. You can stop while both are still quiet.

A starting point, not a rulebook.

Makeup placement and colour are personal choices; adjust the steps to suit you. Follow the directions on your own products.
